Volunteer
Because ICHS is a not-for-profit social justice organization, we rely on the help and support of our volunteers to assist in our programs. Any organization acting for the public benefit should include members of the community – their input, knowledge and experience – in the regular implementation of their programs. ICHS understands that and wants to include students, parents, teachers, and anyone else that wants to help their fellow man, in our efforts to fight poverty.
There are many ways to volunteer:
Visibility When a local event takes place, ICHS wants to be there to spread our message of economic and social justice, fighting poverty, and cultural exchange. We are looking for dedicated people to give information to community members and to find candidates would benefit from our community outreach service-placement program.
Phone-Banking We fund our programs primarily through the generous donations from people with a little extra money who share in the values of ICHS. Even today, the best way to get in touch with potential benefactors is still through the telephone. We always need enthusiastic people to make calls for donations and our services awareness at our weekly phone-banks.
International Intern & Volunteers Program
ICHS, Inc is a non-profit organization dedicated and highly devoted to promoting social, economic, environmental and human rights justice in USA and Africa. We successfully reach our goals by developing community awareness, building international partnerships and mobilizing real people for real change in real situations. As an ICHS volunteer, you have the best opportunities to visit great places, work with community leaders, individuals and participate hosting community celebrations and you are warmly welcomed as a friend, partner and as a family member. This program is unique for a dedicated person to teach and learn from other communities of different cultures and background. This program gives you an opportunity to assist poor communities and it also empowers you to advocate on behalf of and for disadvantaged and underserved populations to help them find solutions to their own problems by using their own experience and resources. - For information on conditions and agreements, please click here - For admission application form, please click here
